Emily Nardiello, Physician Assistant Certified

Staff Member Emily Nardiello - Physician Assistant Certified
Emily Nardiello, PA-C

Emily’s journey to becoming a PA-C began with an interest in biomedical sciences. She chose dermatology because the field has such a broad scope of conditions and she recognized how patient’s lives are affected by having skin problems. “The skin is the first thing you see on a person, conditions affecting the skin may not only be uncomfortable but almost always affects a person mentally and socially. Therefore for me, improving the skin can greatly enhance a person’s happiness in life”.

Emily has her own personal reasons for a passion for dermatology, growing up in Florida with little education at the time about UV sun damage; she has seen the negative impact first hand. Educating patients of all ages on how to better protect their skin from sun damage is something she really enjoys.

Cosmetic dermatology is another part of Emily’s scope of practice.  She is excited about how technology can be utilized to treat patients in a way that couldn’t be done in the past. Fraxel, and Vbeam, are just a few of the services Emily performs here.

Emily attended Grand Valley State University and holds a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant studies.  Her affiliations are the Washington Academy of Physician Assistants (WAPA) and American Academy of Physician’s Assistants AAPA.

Emily joined CSDI in 2016. Patients routinely comment on her friendly demeanor and how thorough she explaining things which is helpful to patients new to dermatology.

Elizabeth Wood, Physician Assistant Certified

We are excited to announce the return of Elizabeth “Eli” Wood to the practice. Her upbeat personality and diagnostic skills makes her popular with patients, and we are so glad to have her back.

Eli Wood, PA-C

Eli (her preferred name), is a Washington native who has practiced for more than 12 years as a certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology the last 6. Her interest in dermatology stems from a fascination with the skin as the primary regenerative organ system of the body. “It is our protective layer and the first line of defense against the environment. I understand that when patients are itchy,  uncomfortable, or feel embarrassed by different skin disorders they need immediate relief and comprehensive care,”

She started her career as a massage therapist practicing injury and chronic pain recovery. Eli has always focused on a holistic approach to medicine and healing with a passion for total health and wellness. This segues into cosmetic dermatology as part of her repertoire of services including Fraxel, Vbeam laser, Laser Dynamic Therapy (LDT), Botox, and dermal filler.

Eli went to Commonwealth University studying oil painting, sculpting and woodworking and has an artistic eye that has helped with superior cosmetic outcomes. She went back to school and graduated with degrees in Chemistry and Health Sciences, holding a Masters in PA studies from the Pacific University of Oregon.

Jillian Cramer, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C

Jillian Cramer has also recently returned to CDSI after completing her graduate program to advance her skills from Registered Nurse to Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She can now see patients with the ability to diagnose, treat illnesses, and prescribe medication. This along with her additional training and experience in cosmetic dermatology, makes Jillian well rounded. She is excited to build her patient base offering evaluations for most dermatologic conditions, skin cancer screenings, and biopsies to name a few.

Her attention to detail has helped her aesthetic practice especially when it comes to injectables like filler and Botox. Patients feel they can trust her skills while feeling comfortable. It’s something you will notice right away is how personable and easy to talk to she is. Along with injectables, Jillian also treats patents with laser for sun-damage, VBeam for redness, and Laser Dynamic Therapy.

Jillian graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from DePaul University.

Ashley Wu, FNP-BC

Ashley Wu, FNP-BC

Ashley became immediately interested in dermatology while in graduate school after attending a dermatology lecture, grabbing any chance she could to get a  dermatology rotation. What drew her to the skin was “the quick improvement that can be visibly seen after treatment. The skin also has such a large psycho-social impact, and I love helping patients feel whole and confident again.” This is a philosophy she shares with all the advanced healthcare providers in practice.

Ashley has a Bachelors Degree in psychology from Rutgers University, a BS in nursing from Villanova University, and MSN from Columbia University in New York.

She sees patients for general dermatology, including skin cancer screening, acne, rashes, hair loss, cysts, among other conditions. She especially loves to help children and teenagers.

On a personal note, Ashley had spent 9 years of her childhood in Taiwan and thus is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. When she is not in the clinic, you can find Ashley crocheting her next amigurumi and rock-climbing.
